AQUA by El Gaucho is delighted to celebrate the legacy of Washington State wine icon and visionary Allen Shoup on this 20th Anniversary of the founding of Long Shadows Winery & Vintners.
Long Shadows is a collection of small production Columbia Valley wines inspired by internationally acclaimed winemakers from around the world. The proposition was as simple as it was complex: recruit a cadre of the finest winemakers in the world; give each vintner access to Washington State’s best grapes; and outfit a winery to accommodate their diverse and exacting cellar specifications. The wines have enjoyed critical acclaim that has continued to grow with each vintage.

BLANTON’S
Created in 1984 by Master Distiller, Elmer T. Lee, and named after Albert B Blanton, Blanton’s was the worlds introduction to Single Barrel Bourbon. A reference to Blanton’s habit of throwing parties with his closest friends and bringing out his favorite barrels. This bottling of Blanton’s Single Barrel is exclusive to Fire & Vine Hospitality restaurants, selected by our team for its pronounced flavors. This Single Barrel was individually selected, Number 177, distilled on April 30th, 2015, filtered and bottled by hand at 93 proof. A reflection of strength, flavor and patience, it’s a nod to the past while looking to the future – a value we hold dear at our restaurants.We hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed selecting it for you.

ANGELS ENVY
Rooted in 200 years of bourbon heritage and inspired by legendary Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson’s lifetime spent crafting fine spirits, Angel’s Envy is a masterpiece. The 5% of spirit lost each year during barrel aging is called the “Angel’s Share,” what’s left behind after we’re done is truly worthy of envy. After tasting our finished whiskey, Lincoln joked that we’d finally gotten a better deal than the angels. And so Angel’s Envy was born. Every batch is finished in specially selected, ruby port wine casks for up to six months, imbuing the bourbon with notes of caramelized fruit, chocolate, and a deep, smoky undertone. This offering was individually selected by our team, barrel number 1952, and bottled at 110 proof. This bottling of Angel’s Envy Single Barrel is exclusive to Fire & Vine Hospitality restaurants, and the very first in Washington State.
