Eagle Rare was created in 1975 during a tumultuous time for Bourbon. Crafted by the renowned Master Distiller Charles Beam for the Seagram’s Company, it was among the final Bourbon brands to debut as the world embarked on a journey into new drinking trends and alternative spirits. While many Bourbon brands succumbed to the shifting landscape, Eagle Rare not only endured but thrived, owing its resilience to its distinctive 10-year aging process and its previous designation as a Single Barrel bourbon. Today, it proudly forms a part of the highly acclaimed Low Rye Mash #1 collection from Buffalo Trace Distillery. Esteemed for its finely tuned blend of Oak, Fruit, Leather, and Pipe Tobacco notes, which develop over time and with great care.

This particular Single Barrel, numbered #258, was carefully chosen by the skilled team at El Gaucho. Distilled on May 9th, 2012, it has matured for just over 11 years in the legendary Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace Distillery.
